FR ROBERT SABLON IS ORDAINED IN BADIANGAN, ILOILO

Last April 13, 2013, Rev Robert Sablon was finally ordained as priest in his hometown in Badiangan, Iloilo. He is the fourth and last to be ordained as priest. He received the sacrament from the Most Rev Angel Lagdameo, the archbishop of Jaro in Iloilo. Like Fr Aporillo, Fr Sablon made history for being the first priest to be ordained in Badiangan.

Some MSP priests and diocesan priests had concelebrated. Aside from the local parishioners, some guests from the Parish of Our Lady of the Abandoned in Mandaluyong City came. The reception or lunch was held at the nearby town gym. There was a program prepared to the delight of the guests.

At 2:00 pm, Fr Sablon celebrated his thanksgiving mass in the same parish church. His homilist was Fr Carmelo Horlador MSP, who came all the way from Taiwan.

 Fr Sablon is assigned as the Parochial Vicar of the Blessed Sacrament Parish in Cebu City, effective May 15, 2013.
