FIL-MISSION SUNDAY

The Fil-Mission Sunday is being celebrated every last Sunday of July. It is a special day of prayer and thanksgiving to God for the gift of faith that we received.

It is a day particularly dedicated to the members of the Mission Society of the Philippines (MSP) for their selfless efforts in proclaiming the Gospel, especially to the young churches in Asia and to other parts of the world, on behalf of the Catholic Church of the Philippines. The Church encourages the faithful to be in solidarity with the MSP, and to be part of its missionary work. On this day, the lay faithful are invited to pray and to share material offerings for the MSP.
