FR FERDINAND APORILLO IS ORDAINED IN ESPERANZA, AGUSAN

The third deacon who was finally ordained as priest was Fr Ferdinand Aporillo. The ordination happened on April 10, 2013 at a quasi-parish Church in Guadalupe, Esperanza, Agusan del Sur.

The Bishop of Butuan, Most Rev Juan de Dios Pueblos, was the ordaining bishop. Some MSP priests concelebrated, along with some diocesan priests in the area, The small barrio church overflowed with people as they witnessed the first ordination ceremony in that church. The Father Moderator, Fr Alfredo Africa Jr, delivered his message of thanksgiving.

The members of Fil-Mission Auxiliary Association (FMAA) from Davao City also came, together with those coming from Cebu City and Mandaluyong City.

At 2:00  pm, Fr Aporillo celebrated his thanksgiving mass in the same parish Church. His invited homilist was Fr Patrick Casino MSP.

Fr Aporillo is assigned as the Parochial Vicar of the Parish of Our Lady of the Abandoned in Mandaluyong City, effective May 15, 2013.
