NewsFR. REY LIPAT REPORTS TO HIS NEW MISSION ASSIGNMENT IN TAIWAN
ON JULY 18, 2008, Fr Rey Lipat left for Taiwan. Taiwan in not new to him because he was once sent to the island, and in fact, he was the first MSP missionary in the Diocese of Taichung in Taiwan. However, this time, he goes to a new place, i.e., the Diocese of Hsinchu. In his farewell speech, Fr Rey expressed his joy and gratitude for being sent again to the mission. He likewise expressed his apprehension because going to another diocese would mean studying a new language. Before, he studied Taigi because it is the language spoken by people in Taichung. Now, he has to study the major Chinese language which is Mandarin. Fr Rey will be joining the MSP missionaries assigned in Hsinchu: Fr Rey Paculob, Fr Jools Amamangpang, Fr Messy Uy, and Fr Mawe Jadraque. Best wishes, Fr Rey! |
