Dear Brothers and Sisters,

 

Praise be to our Lord Jesus Christ!

 

On this feast day of Sts. Timothy and Titus, Missionaries, we bring you good news. After long rounds of discernment, prayer, and voting processes, that started at 1.29 pm today, January 26, 2024, the election of the new leaders of the Mission Society of the Philippines ended at exactly 6.58 pm with the official declaration of the elected leaders, and the closing of the election process. As authorized by the 10th MSP General Assembly Delegates, it is with deep Gratitude and Joy to the Lord, that I inform you the new Father Moderator and General Council of the Mission Society of the Philippines (2024-2029):

 

Father Moderator: Rev. Fr. Reginaldo Lavilla, MSP

Council Members: Rev. Fr. Marc Louie Calo, MSP

                             Rev. Fr. Adolfo Bonghanoy, MSP

                             Rev. Fr. Rolando Detera, MSP

                             Rev. Fr. Alemar Orit, MSP

 

Rev. Fr. Jonathan Germinanda, MSP, the outgoing Father Moderator has declared the 10th MSP General Assembly held at San Damiano Spirituality Center in Tagaytay City, officially closed at 6.69 pm today.

 

We kindly ask you to keep them in your prayers and Mass intentions, that they may be guided by the Holy Spirit, and under the maternal care of the Blessed Virgin Mary, they will lead the Society with love, docility, wisdom, humility, discernment, and understanding.

 

We also would like to sincerely thank the Bishop Socrates Mesiona, MSP, Fr. John Christian Young, Fr. Antonio Pernia, SVD, GA delegates, GA secretariat, MSP Seminarians, MSP staff and San Damiano staff, and all who became a part of this missionary activity, for their generous contributions and kindness. May the Good Lord reward you a hundredfold.
