NewsMSP IS NOW ELEVATED TO A PONTIFICAL RIGHT STATUS
The Mission Society of the Philippines (MSP) now becomes a missionary Society of Apostolic Life of Pontifical right. Its application for a pontifical recognition has been recently approved by the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples (CEP). The official decree was signed last January 6, 2009 by His Eminence Ivan Cardinal Dias (the Prefect) and Mons. Robert Sarah (the Secretary) of the said Vatican congregation. The MSP is indeed grateful to the bishops who gave their testimonial letters which served as a support to the MSP’s application. Above is a copy of the decree issued by the CEP. |
