FR. PEDRO DIOLANTO PACURIBOT, 77 YEARS OLD

FR. PEDRO “Pete” PACURIBOT, MSP has passed away on April 27, 2009 at 12:10pm. He was brought to the Perpetual Succor Hospital in Cebu City on April 17, 2009 and ten days later, he died of complications. He was 77 years old.

Fr Pete was one of the pioneers of the MSP. He joined the MSP during its establishment in 1965. As a missionary, he spent long years in the Diocese of Khorat, in Thailand.

His body lies in state at the MSP Seminary Chapel in Tayud, Consolacion, Cebu. Interment will be on Thursday, April 30, 2009. The funeral mass will be celebrated in the same chapel at 2:00pm. His body will be laid to rest at the nearby MSP Cemetery. Requiescat in pace!
