THE MHM SUPERIOR GENERAL VISITS THE MSP CENTRAL HOUSE

Fr Anthony Chantry MHM, the Superior General of the Mill Hill Missionaries, visited the MSP Central House on February 2, 2008. Fr Chantry came with Fr Liam, MHM, a confrere of Fr Chantry who works as a formator at the MHM formation house in Iloilo. The two MHM fathers met the MSP Father Moderator, Fr Soc Mesiona and Fr Pat Casino.

Fr Chantry was in the country for a canonical visit to their missions in Iloilo and Coron, Palawan. Fr Casino met Fr Chantry during the MISAL meeting in Rome last November 2007.

Prior to going to the MSP Central House, the two MHM missionaries were toured by Fr Pat Casino to some parts of the old Manila and to the SM Mall of Asia. Afterwards, both were brought to the MSP Central House. The brief meeting was a getting-to-know occasion, a sharing of societal life, and a thinking of possible missionary collaborations in the future. After the meeting, the two MHM priests were brought to the airport; Fr Liam to a domestic airport and Fr Chantry to the international airport, taking a flight back to London, England.
