NewsBISHOP PAUL OTSUKA MEETS THE FATHER MODERATOR
The bishop was in the country in order to gain some relevant documents as the Catholic Church of Japan is working for the beatification of Justo Ukon Takayama, a man considered as a pillar of Christian faith in Japan, who died in the Philippines in the year 1615. The bishop heads the Episcopal commission tasked for this cause.
It happened that the day of meeting was the 15th Episcopal anniversary of Bp Otsuka. The Father Moderator treated the host with a dinner at Greenbelt, Makati, with Fr Exor Arce and Fr Patrick Casino. |
