Mark your calendars for a momentous occasion-the Solemn Blessing of the New Church Building and the Dedication of the New Altar of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, Buka Town, the Diocese of Bougainville, Autonomous Region of Bougainville, Papua New Guinea. This significant event, to be held on Saturday, 08 June 2024, will be presided over by His Excellency, Most Reverend Dariusz Kaluza, MSF, DD, Bishop of the Diocese of Bougainville.
On Sunday, 09 June 2024, a Thanksgiving Mass will be held at the same parish church. We are deeply grateful to Fr. Reginaldo Lavilla, MSP, the Father Moderator of the Mission Society of the Philippines, for accepting the invitation to preside over this special occasion. His presence, along with the guidance of the parish priest, Rev. Fr. Biljohn Arienza, MSP, will surely make this a memorable event.
Let's take a moment to appreciate the dedication of the four MSP priests assigned in Papua New Guinea-Fr. Biljohn Arienza, Fr. Christopher Amoroso, Fr. Robert Saballo, and Fr. Guillermo Tadena. Among them, Fr. Tadena serves as the parish priest of Mary Queen of the Pacific Catholic Church, Archdiocese of Moresby, PNG.
